Disclaimer of Itinerary
We do our best to stick to the schedule we have laid out for the trek. We may have to change the route, though, if the situation calls for it. Therefore, because of the nature of the trip and how far away it is, anything could happen. During a trek, if something comes up that changes the plan, the trek leader will make decisions that are best for the group.
Views During The Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek
You will get to see stunning views of the Yalung Glaciers. The constant company of the heart-warming landscape and tranquility of the Kanchenjunga region will make you feel back in your forgotten home. Unchanged by the change of time, Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek will take you back in time.
The entire Kanchenjunga region is protected under the Kanchenjunga Conservation Area. In Nepal, it is a restricted area. Trekkers have to get a special permit from the Nepal government to trek to Kanchenjunga. The trail is rich in flora & fauna. If luck is in your favor, you may come across some rare wildlife like Himalayan black bears, musk deer, snow leopards, red pandas, etc. Likewise, many endangered species of birds are seen along the way.
The Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek gets even more fascinating when you begin to hear stories about The Yeti from the locals. Yes, the snow monster or snowman, whatever you refer to it, is believed to be found in this part of the Himalayas.
Then comes the breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountains. Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek exclusively presents some of the most intriguing panoramas of the mountains like Tent Peak (5,663 m/18,684 ft), Mt. Kambachen (7,902 m/25,925 ft), Mt. Janu (7,710 m/25,300 ft), etc, including the eight-thousanders like Mt. Everest (8,849 m/29,032 ft), Mt. Makalu (8,463 m/27,765 ft) and Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m/27,940 ft).

So, you can trust us with your money and time. Our team has worked in this field before, so all treks go smoothly. Also, you will not have to worry about food, water, or a hotel room.
During your trek, the leader of your group will look out for your safety. The trek leader has a satellite phone with him in case he needs to get in touch with the city office. Our guide will keep us informed about the trek all the time. Therefore, your safety is our top priority.
Also, the whole team has been immunized against Covid-19. Therefore, there is no emergency on a national scale, and the country is open to people from all over the world. Most people have had their first or second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, so it is safe to go on the trek.
Travel Insurance
To go on the trek, you need to have travel insurance. We do not accept a reservation if the person who wants to go does not have good travel insurance. You should know that this trek is at a high altitude and in an area that has not been developed and is hard to get to. If there is a medical emergency on the trek that cannot be fixed with first aid, we will send the person by helicopter for emergency rescue.
In case of an emergency, your travel insurance should pay for your medical bills and get you to a safe place by air. You can also add flight cancellation and loss or theft of personal items to your travel insurance if you want to. Nepal does not offer travel insurance to people from other countries, so you must get it before you leave.
Best Time
Spring and fall are the best times to go hiking to Kachenjunga Circuit. Therefore, it is the best time to trek or climb in the Himalayas, and the weather is most stable. From March to April and October to November, the weather is nice and clear.
During the day, it is sunny and windy, and you can see the mountains clearly. In Autumn, the air smells cold and crisp, and in Spring, it smells warm. The temperature can be anywhere between 5°C and 18°C. The mornings and nights are not too warm.
Tipping
The cost of the Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek does not include tips. We let our guests decide how much to tip the people on our field crew. Tipping is more of a cultural thing than something you have to do. But we recommend tipping to show your appreciation for your team’s hard work, and it is best to tip as a group.
Size of Group Notes
We organize private treks for solo travelers who prefer to trek alone and take their time. Likewise, our group size usually ranges between 2 to 12 trekkers. Visa and Entry Requirements
People who want to go to Nepal need a valid passport that is still valid for a minimum of six months and a Visa. Most countries can get a visa when they arrive in Nepal. This is true at Tribhuvan International Airport and other entry points. Make sure to find out if your country can get a visa when you arrive or not. If not, you can apply for a travel visa at Nepal’s embassy or consulate in your home country.
The traveler is responsible for getting a visa. Check all of the visa requirements and make sure you have the right papers with you. We can send you a letter confirming your trip. If you don’t get a visa, the company won’t be responsible for that.
Money Exchange
You must use Nepali money in Nepal. There are many banks and places to exchange money in Kathmandu where you can get a good rate. You can use your international cards at most ATMs in Kathmandu to get cash.
