Today the trek officially begins. After a quick breakfast in the morning , we set off on a thrilling 8-9 hours hike, so make sure you are physically and mentally ready and drink enough water . Today we are embarking on a journey to Phu and it is going to be an adventure. This trek will take us around 8-9 hours , so it’s important to be physically and mentally ready. Don’t forget to stay hydrated, and make sure you have had a good sleep.
Our path leads us from Meta to Phu. As we trek from Meta, you will encounter these unique and colorful Tibetan structures called “chortens”. Along the way, you will get to see the splendid view of the Nar Phedi monastery, a place of spiritual importance. Also, you will be traveling through scenic canyons and gorges, which are like natural wonders. There is a steep trail leading to Phu , and on this trail , you might even catch the first glimpses of the villages in this area. Today, we are heading up to Ngawal village through Kang La Pass. As we go along the side of Temdenzon Khola, you'll see amazing views of the western side of Pisang Peak. Our journey will take us to Kang La Phedi, the place where Kang La Pass begins.
From Kang La Pass, you will be able to see stunning views of Annapurna Il, Gangapurna, and Tilicho Peak. After a few more hours of walking, we will arrive at Nyagwal village. Get ready for some incredible sights and a memorable trek. Therefore, we will be spending the night here.

Today, we are saying goodbye to Manang. We start by reaching Tenki village. Then, we will make our way to Jar Sang Khola Valley. Finally, we reach Yak Kharka, a peaceful spot.

Today, we are making our way to the base of Thorong La Pass, called Thorong Phedi. Starting from Yak Kharka, you will go up a hill, then down to cross the Marsyangdi river using a wooden bridge. After that, we keep on the mountain path and follow a narrow trail along a slope until we reach Thorong Phedi. It is like a stepping stone for our next adventure.

Today, we are going to climb up Thorong La Pass, which is one of the highest points on our journey. It is a tough climb because it's so high up and the path is steep, but the view from the top is amazing.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:
For the Nar Phu Valley, you need to have travel insurance. It is a long hike in a remote area, and there is a chance of getting altitude sickness. There are no proper health care facilities in the area, so if the trekker needs medical help beyond first aid, we can only fly them to a hospital in Kathmandu or Pokhara. When it comes to building basic infrastructure, the Nar Phu valley of Nepal has not been touched. So, the Nar Phu Valley does not have any places to get medical help.

Visa and Entry Requirements
To get into Nepal, you need a travel visa that is good for at least six months. Many countries can get a visa when they arrive in Nepal, which can be done at any of the country’s entry points. If you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, you can get your visa before meeting with our company representatives.
Check to see if your country can get a visa when you get there or if you need to go to the Nepalese embassy or consulate to get one.
Please keep in mind that it is the traveler’s job to get their own visa.
We suggest that you check the visa requirements and apply for a visa as soon as possible. We can give you a letter confirming your trip, which you may need for the visa application process. If you cannot get a visa and have to cancel your trip because of that, you may have to pay a cancellation fee.
Money Exchange
You must use Nepali money in Nepal. There are many banks and places to exchange money in Kathmandu, where you can get a good rate. You can use your international cards at most ATMs in Kathmandu to get cash. Most hotels, restaurants, cafes, shops, entertainment centers, and other places in Kathmandu accepts Visa, Mastercard, and other credit cards.
During your trek up the Nar Phu Valley,there is no money exchange facility. Therefore, make sure you exchange the money in Kathmandu. Hence, the place is rural.
Emergency fund
Set aside some money in case you need to stay longer in Nepal, pay for something you did not expect to need or spend more than you planned on shopping. This emergency The fund will hold you back and give you the freedom to travel without worrying.
Cancellation policy
The cancellation fees are calculated as a percentage of the total tour price:
- Cancellation one week before departure: 15% of full payment will be deducted
- Cancellation on the same day: 25% of full payment will be deducted
- No refund on cancellation after departure
