The Ghorepani Poon Hill trek is rated as moderate and one easily taken by beginners; nevertheless, there are a number of challenges while on this trek. There will be stone staircases to ascend and descend, with a few steep ones that may prove difficult for most trekkers-particularly for those whose bodies are not adapted to high-altitude trekking. It rises to a height of 3,210 meters above sea level at Poon Hill, where the leaner air can make your breathing somewhat labored. The trek is, however, undertaken at an easy pace, allowing plenty of time to rest and get acclimatized en route.
