The Challenges

The basic ascend and descend nature of the trail, especially regarding the climb to Ghorepani and the descent to Ghandruk; altitude for a few; and weather conditions-these are some of the major challenges that this relatively short trek possesses. The weather conditions during monsoon and winter seasons will add to the element of risks because the trails are slippery and visibility is poor.

Accommodation

Basic facilities in comfortable teahouses will be provided during the whole trek. These teahouses are run by local families who have been in this business for ages, being the local inhabitants with a very heartwarming hospitality culture. Room allocation will usually be in a twin-sharing basis. The facility includes basic shared accommodation facilities and common dining where one can relax and share meals with other trekkers. Although simple, it would not be less than a retreat after the long and tiring day of trekking.
